what we do
The Baltimore County Association of Senior Citizens Organizations, Inc. (BCASCO) is a non partisan, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) Organization. Established in 1978, we are recognized as a leader in advocacy and “spokesperson” for the older population in Baltimore County. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of this significant group, which includes those of 21 Senior Centers (over 20,000 members), those within other senior interest groups, as well as County senior residents in general. We coordinate a communication network to include Public Forum events and Social Media. As well, we advocate for legislations of senior concerns. What are your concerns? We assist senior groups and organizations in enhancing their individual strengths, while exploring our mutual interests in improving the quality of senior living in Baltimore County. Our offerings are extended to Caregivers, family members and friends of this important population.

Individual Member
As an Individual Member (County resident 55 or over), you are encouraged to participate in the General Membership meetings, held six times (seven as needed) within the fiscal year. Your input in the overall operation is essential to BCASCO’s growth. Apply your skills in a leadership position as an Officer with the Organization. If you embrace our Mission, but do not meet age and/or residency requirements, consider becoming an Affiliate Member. We welcome your skills and talents. If not a senior, you will be helping to build the future senior life you wish to enjoy! See a need and come help fill it! We believe MANY HANDS = SMALLER

Non-Profit Organization or a Business
Do you own a Non-Profit Organization or a Business with products/services that support our mission? Join with BCASCO and be acknowledged on our website and Annual Luncheon Program; receive periodic sharing of your Special Events through our mailings; be afforded the opportunity of exposure as a Vendor at the BCASCO Public Forum Events [minimum of five a year], all while providing input into the General Membership Meetings and overall growth process of BCASCO. We endeavor to be mutually beneficial to your Business/Organization.
Your yearly (July-June) Senior, charitable Individual Member or Affiliate Donation is $10 (Ten Dollars); Non-Profit $50 (Fifty Dollars); For Profit Business $100 (One Hundred Dollars). Additionally, Community Donors and Sponsors are essential and welcomed assets; aiding greatly in our ability to expand services to more seniors! Contact us for details on adding you, your Organization or Business as a Donor or Sponsor.
